Week 3/8 – 3/14

2 Peter 2:19-22 “They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for people are slaves to whatever has mastered them. If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: ‘A dog returns to its vomit,’ and, ‘A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.’”

Peter delivers one of the most sobering warnings in Scripture: going back to what God has delivered you from is more dangerous than never having been freed at all. When you’ve tasted freedom in Christ, experienced His transformation, and known the power of His grace, turning back to your old life isn’t just a minor setback, it’s a spiritual catastrophe. The imagery is intentionally disturbing: a dog returning to vomit, a pig going back to the mud. God uses graphic language because He wants you to see backtracking for what it truly is; returning to something toxic that He already rescued you from. You become enslaved again to what once mastered you, but now with the added weight of having known better.

The danger isn’t in struggling or stumbling; it’s in deliberately turning your back on what you know is true and walking back into bondage. Every step backward is a step away from the freedom Christ purchased for you at great cost. God didn’t bring you out of darkness just for you to romanticize it and return. He didn’t break your chains so you could pick them back up. The enemy will whisper that your old life wasn’t that bad, that you can manage it this time, that freedom is overrated. Don’t believe the lie. What’s behind you is corruption, slavery, and mud. What’s ahead of you in Christ is life, freedom, and purpose. Keep moving forward. Don’t look back. The danger in backtracking is real, and the cost is too high to pay.

Week 3/1 – 3/7

John 14:6 – “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”

Dear friends in Christ, In a world where truth seems relative and paths are confusing, Jesus offers absolute clarity. He is not a way or a truth; He is the way, the truth, and the life. This claim simplifies everything. When you are looking for guidance, follow The Way. When you are searching for meaning, hold onto The Truth. When you are hungry for purpose, embrace The Life. Your relationship with Him is the single most important reality, and it is the foundation for every wise decision you will ever make.

Week 2/22 – 2/28

Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

God is calling you to let go of the disbelief that keeps you circling in the wilderness when your promised land is within reach. Stop looking at the giants and start looking at the God who has brought you this far. Your future is not determined by the size of your obstacles but by the faithfulness of your God. What He has promised, He will accomplish, but you must choose to believe Him over your fears. The question is not whether God can bring you into your future; the question is whether you’ll trust Him enough to take the step. Let go of your disbelief today and believe in Him. Your future is waiting.

Week 2/15 – 2/21

Philippians 3:13-14 – “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

Paul, one of the greatest apostles in Christian history, makes a powerful admission: he hasn’t arrived yet. Despite his incredible ministry, his profound revelations, and his sacrificial service, he refuses to rest on past accomplishments or be defined by past failures. Instead, he does one thing with laser focus: he forgets what is behind and strains toward what is ahead. The word “straining” paints a picture of an athlete stretching every muscle, giving maximum effort, fully committed to reaching the finish line. This is not casual Christianity or comfortable faith. This is intentional, forward-focused pursuit of everything God has called you to become in Christ.
Your past does not have the final word on your future. Whether your past holds regrets that haunt you or achievements that tempt you to coast, Paul’s example calls you to let it go and press forward. God has a prize ahead of you, a heavenly calling that requires your full attention and effort today. Stop replaying yesterday’s failures or yesterday’s victories. Stop letting guilt or pride anchor you to what was. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus and the goal He has set before you. Press on with everything you have. The best of what God has for you is still ahead, and it’s worth straining toward with all your heart.
This Week’s Action: Write down one thing from your past (a failure, a hurt, or even a success) that you need to stop dwelling on. Declare over it, “I am forgetting what is behind and pressing on toward what God has ahead.” Then identify one specific way you can strain toward your calling this week.
Prayer: Jesus, help me to let go of my past and press forward into everything You have for me. Give me the discipline to focus on the goal, the strength to strain toward it, and the faith to believe that my best days are ahead. I press on toward the prize of Your heavenly calling. Amen.

Week 2/8 – 2/14

Numbers 14:1-3 ­– “That night all the members of the community raised their voices and wept aloud. All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, ‘If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness! Why is the Lord bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?’”

The Israelites stood at the edge of the Promised Land, the very future God had promised them, yet all they could see were obstacles. Their disbelief was so powerful that they wished for death or slavery rather than stepping forward into God’s promise. They had seen miracle after miracle, yet in this crucial moment, fear overwhelmed faith. Their past suffering seemed safer than God’s promised future, and their “what ifs” drowned out God’s “I will.” This is the danger of disbelief: it makes you romanticize your past bondage and dread your future blessing.

God is calling you to let go of the disbelief that keeps you circling in the wilderness when your promised land is within reach. Stop looking at the giants and start looking at the God who has brought you this far. Your future is not determined by the size of your obstacles but by the faithfulness of your God. What He has promised, He will accomplish, but you must choose to believe Him over your fears. Week 2/1 – 2/7

Psalm 46:10 – “He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’”

Dear faithful ones, In a world that constantly demands movement, noise, and productivity, God gives you a simple, profound command: Be still. This isn’t just about physical quiet; it’s about quieting your soul, pausing the endless cycle of worry, planning, and striving. Stillness is the place where you recognize that you don’t have to carry the weight of the world, God does. When you stop struggling and simply rest in His presence, your faith moves from your head to your heart, and you truly “know” that He is God, in control of everything.

JANUARY 2026

Week 1/25 – 1/31

2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

Precious child of God, This week, recognize the radical transformation that took place when you placed your faith in Christ. You are not a patched-up version of your old self; you are a brand new creation! The mistakes of your past, the labels the world gave you, and the failures you are tempted to dwell on; all of it is part of the “old that has gone.” Embrace your new identity. Walk in the freedom, forgiveness, and purpose that comes with being completely new in Christ. God sees you through the lens of His finished work, and you are flawless in His sight.

Week 1/18 – 1/24

Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Dear friends, As you begin a new season, you don’t need to have all the answers; you just need to remember this command. God doesn’t tell you to feel strong or courageous; He tells you to be strong and courageous, because He has already gone before you. The strength you need is not your own, but His power working through you. Whenever fear or discouragement tries to creep in, speak this truth out loud: God is with me. His presence cancels fear and empowers you to face any challenge with divine confidence.

Week 1/11 – 1/17

Numbers 13:31-33 — “We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we… we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.”

When the twelve spies returned from the Promised Land, they all saw the same territory, the same giants, the same fortified cities; yet they came back with two vastly different reports. Ten spies saw obstacles; two saw opportunities. Ten saw giants; two saw God. The question that echoes across the ages is this: Where is your faith? Do you measure your challenges against your own strength, or against the power of the Almighty who brought you this far? The ten spies made a fatal error. They saw themselves as grasshoppers and forgot they served the God who parts seas, topples walls, and brings kingdoms to their knees. When you stand at the threshold of your own promised land and the giants seem insurmountable, remember this: your God is not intimidated by the size of your obstacles. He is only watching to see if you will trust Him enough to step forward. The same fear that paralyzes can also propel you into faith. Will you be among the ten who retreat in terror, or will you stand with Joshua and Caleb, declaring that the Lord is with us and the giants are bread for us to devour? Where is your faith today, in the size of the problem, or in the size of your God?

Week 1/4 – 1/10

Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Beloved, As the year draws to a close, you might be looking back at moments that felt like failures or setbacks. This verse is a powerful reminder that nothing in your life is wasted. God is the master weaver, and even the dark threads of disappointment, challenge, and confusion are being woven into a beautiful tapestry for your ultimate good and His purpose. This doesn’t mean that everything is good, but that God is working in all things for good. Let this truth fill you with hope and peace as you step into a new year: your circumstances do not determine your destiny; God’s purpose does.

DECEMBER 2025

Week 12/28 – 1/3

Matthew 2:9-10 — “the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.”

The wise men’s journey teaches us that when God places a divine light in our path, we must have the courage to follow it, even when the destination is uncertain and the road is long. These seekers didn’t allow doubt, distance, or the dangers of their journey to dim their determination. They fixed their eyes on that heavenly star and pressed forward with unwavering faith. In our own lives, God still sends forth stars; divine callings, unmistakable promptings, moments of clarity that cut through the darkness. When you perceive that guiding light, don’t hesitate or second-guess. Rise up like those ancient magi and pursue it with everything you have. The star that led to the King of Kings still shines today, beckoning us toward our own encounters with the divine. Follow your star with exceeding great joy, knowing that what awaits at journey’s end is far more precious than gold, frankincense, or myrrh; it is the very presence of Christ Himself, the Light of the World who makes all our seeking worthwhile.

Week 12/21 – 12/27

Proverbs 3:5-6 — “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Matthew 1:22-25 — “All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: ‘The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel’ (which means ‘God with us’). When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.”

Beloved,

The greatest miracle of Christmas isn’t just that God sent a Savior; it’s that God Himself came to be with us. Immanuel means “God with us,” and this changes everything about how we understand God’s heart toward humanity. He didn’t send help from a distance. He didn’t fix things from heaven. He came down, took on flesh, and lived among us.

Jesus is God’s ultimate statement: “I am with you.” In your joy and your sorrow, in your victories and your struggles, in your ordinary days and your extraordinary moments; God is with you. He’s not a distant deity watching from afar. He’s Immanuel, God who stepped into human experience to walk beside you.

Week 12/7 – 12/13

Timothy 1:7 — “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

Beloved,
Fear is not from God. Read that again. The anxiety that keeps you up at night, the worry that paralyzes your decisions, the dread that whispers lies about your future, none of that comes from your Heavenly Father. God gives you something entirely different: power, love, and a sound mind.
When fear knocks on your door, remember what God has actually given you. He’s given you power, not to control every outcome, but to face whatever comes with His strength. He’s given you love; His perfect love that casts out fear and enables you to love others well even in difficult times. He’s given you a sound mind, the ability to think clearly, make wise decisions, and see truth instead of being consumed by worst-case scenarios.
Fear wants to convince you that you’re helpless, alone, and headed toward disaster. But God’s truth says you’re powerful through Him, surrounded by His love, and equipped to handle life with wisdom and clarity. Choose which voice you’ll believe today.

Week 11/30 – 12/6

James 5:16 — “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

Peter 2:9 – “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

Precious child of God,
In a world that constantly measures worth by performance, appearance, achievements, or popularity, God’s voice cuts through the noise with a different message: You are chosen. Not because of what you do, but because of who He is.
Before you accomplished anything, before you proved yourself worthy, before you got your life together, God chose you. This choice wasn’t based on your resume or your potential. It was based on His love, which sees immeasurable value in you that the world may never recognize.
You are royal priesthood, that means you have direct access to the King of kings and the privilege of representing Him to others. You are a holy nation, set apart for purposes that matter eternally. You are His special possession, treasured, protected, and loved beyond measure.
This identity doesn’t change based on your circumstances, your mistakes, or your feelings. On your worst days and your best days, you remain chosen, royal, holy, and treasured. Let this truth shape how you see yourself and how you walk through this world.

Week 11/16 – 11/22

Lamentations 3:22-23 – “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

No matter what yesterday held, whether mistakes you made, opportunities you missed, words you wish you could take back, or pain you endured, today offers a fresh start. God’s mercy isn’t recycled or rationed. It’s brand new every single morning, as fresh as the sunrise.
This isn’t about pretending yesterday didn’t happen or minimizing the real consequences of past choices. It’s about recognizing that God’s love for you is bigger than your biggest failure and His grace is stronger than your worst mistake. His compassions never fail, which means His heart toward you never grows cold or distant.
Every morning when you wake up, you’re receiving a gift: new mercy, fresh compassion, and another opportunity to walk in His grace. The failures of yesterday don’t define today’s possibilities. The disappointments of the past don’t limit today’s potential for blessing.
God’s faithfulness isn’t dependent on your performance. Even when you’re unfaithful, He remains faithful. Even when you stumble, His love doesn’t waver. This is the security that allows you to face each new day with hope and confidence.

Week 11/9 – 11/15

Luke 15:21-32 — “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate. Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’ The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’ ‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’

Dear family of God,
Jesus told one story with two sons, and both reveal something profound about our relationship with the Father. The question isn’t which son was worse; it’s which son are you right now, and what does that reveal about how you see God?

Week 10/26 – 11/1

Week 10/19 – 10/25

Matthew 6:14-15 – “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

Jesus gives a startling warning about forgiveness: If we refuse to forgive others, God will also refuse to forgive us. Why? Because when we don’t forgive others, we are denying our common ground as sinners in need of God’s forgiveness. God’s forgiveness of sin is not the direct result of our forgiving others, but it is based on our realizing what forgiveness means. It is easy to ask God for forgiveness, but difficulties to grant it to others. Whenever we ask God to forgive us for sin, we should ask ourselves, “Have I forgiven the people who have wronged me?”

Week 10/12 – 10/18

God will restore.

Dear loved ones,
The prodigal son’s story is your story. He demanded his inheritance early, wasted it all, and ended up in a pigsty, the lowest place imaginable for a Jewish man. He lost everything: his wealth, his dignity, his reputation, his sense of belonging. Yet in that desperate moment, something beautiful happened, he came to his senses and remembered his father’s house.

Notice what happened when he decided to return. He didn’t have to clean himself up first. He didn’t have to earn his way back. He didn’t even make it through his rehearsed apology before his father interrupted him with extravagant love. While he was still a long way off, his father saw him, ran to him, and restored him completely.

“Jesus continued: ‘There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, “Father, give me my share of the estate.” So he divided his property between them… When he came to his senses, he said, “How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.” So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.’Luke 15:11, 17-20

Week 10/5 – 10/11

Isaiah 40:31 – “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Are you feeling weary today? Exhausted by the demands of life, the weight of responsibilities, or the battles you’re fighting? Take heart, God sees your tiredness, and He offers something the world cannot: true renewal.

This promise in Isaiah isn’t about physical energy drinks or motivational speeches. It’s about supernatural strength that comes from placing our hope entirely in God. When we try to power through life in our own strength, we burn out. But when we anchor our hope in Him, He provides strength that defies human limitations.

Notice the progression: soaring like eagles, running without weariness, walking without fainting. God meets us wherever we are. Maybe today you can’t soar, that’s okay, He’ll help you run. If you can’t run, He’ll help you walk. If you can barely walk, He’ll carry you until you can soar again.

Your strength isn’t measured by how much you can handle on your own. True strength is knowing when to lean into God’s unlimited power and let Him work through your surrendered life.

SEPTEMBER 2025

Week 9/21 – 9/27

Matthew 5:14 – “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”

Beloved followers of Christ,

God has called you to be light in this world, not to try to become light, but to recognize that through Christ, you already ARE light. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about letting God’s love shine through your authentic, redeemed life.

Your kindness to a difficult coworker, your patience with family members, your generosity to those in need, your willingness to forgive, these are not small acts. They are powerful demonstrations of God’s kingdom breaking into our world through you.

You don’t need a platform or special talents to fulfill this calling. Every interaction is an opportunity to reflect Christ’s love. Every challenge you face with grace, every word of encouragement you offer, every act of service you perform, all of these let His light shine through you.

Remember, a light doesn’t struggle to shine; it simply does what it was created to do. In the same way, as you stay connected to Christ and walk in His love, His light naturally flows through you to touch others.

Week 9/14 – 9/20

Created for an Assignment

God didn’t create you by accident or leave you here without purpose. You have been strategically placed in this time, in this location, with your unique gifts and experiences for a divine assignment. Just as God told the exiled Israelites to build, plant, and settle where He had placed them, He’s calling you to flourish right where you are.

Your assignment isn’t necessarily somewhere else or in some distant future, it’s in the here and now. It’s in your workplace, your neighborhood, your family, your community. God has positioned you exactly where you are to build His kingdom, to plant seeds of hope, to be a source of blessing to those around you.

Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce… Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have. – Jeremiah 29:5, 8

Week 9/7 – 9/13

Hebrews 11:1“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

Dear friends in Christ,

This week, let us remember that faith isn’t about having all the answers or seeing the complete path ahead. Like Abraham, who stepped out not knowing where he was going, we are called to trust God’s faithfulness even when our circumstances are uncertain.

When you face moments of doubt or confusion, remember that these are not signs of weak faith, they are opportunities for your faith to grow stronger. God doesn’t ask us to understand His ways completely, but He does promise to be with us every step of the journey.

Week 8/31 – 9/6

I Still Believe

When times are hard and life feels unbearable – I Still Believe.

When everyone is too busy or have turned their backs on me – I Still Believe.

When my body aches and my brain becomes cloudy – I Still Believe.

When it feels like Death is knocking on my door – I Still Believe.

I Still Believe that GOD is with me at all times…

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to GOD must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. – Hebrews 11:6

Week 8/24 – 8/30

Matthew 28:20“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

In a world that often feels chaotic and overwhelming, we have access to the most powerful force in the universe: the presence of God. Jesus didn’t just promise to visit us occasionally or help us from a distance, He promised to be WITH us always.

This presence isn’t passive. It’s active, transformative, and deeply personal. When you feel lonely, He is your companion. When you’re overwhelmed, He is your peace. When you’re weak, He is your strength. His presence changes everything about how we face each day.

The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, who turned water into wine, that same God walks with you today. Not just near you, but WITH you in the most intimate way.
